Lamonts Bishops house and Como the Treasury wedding

Nikola and Michaels wedding day was so full of love and laughter, I had the very best time with them! I photographed Nikola and Michael’s wedding at Como the Treasury and Lamonts bishops house in Perth using a mix of 120mm film and digital. It was the perfect day for shooting film; the afternoon lighting was beautiful and soft, perfect for film. The day started off at Como the treasury for hair and makeup by the wonderful Connor Adams. Their ceremony was held at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Saints Constantine and Helene, a beautiful Greek church in Perth. Their portraits were then back at The State buildings inside Como the Treasury on the balcony and in the rooms. Their reception was held at Lamonts Bishops house where they joined their guests for cocktail hour, they then snuck away for five minutes of photo’s at sunset and then joined everyone for their sit down dinner reception.

We started the day getting ready inside The state buildings at Como the treasury! Once of my favourite spots in Perth for bridal prep because the rooms are large, bright and total luxury. The staff are incredible and everything goes off without at hitch.

The Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Saints Constantine and Helene is one of my favourite churches in Perth to photograph in. It is absolutely beautiful in every corner. Nikki and Michael’s portraits were inside and around Como the treasury and Post and then in the gardens at sunset at Lamonts bishops house. They really wanted to join their guests for cocktail hour so we snuck away for 5 minutes to grab some sunset photos. Im so glad we did because the results were incredible. I used a combination of 120mm film and digital photography to photograph their bridal portrait’s.

Lamonts Bishops house is an incredible wedding venue. The service is without fault every time I’m there and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Nikola and Michael had photo’s in the gardens and then a sit down wedding reception with beautiful long tables made so beautiful by Poppy’s flowers, surrounded by their nearest and dearest. There was lots of laughter and tears as you can see in the images and then we kicked off the Greek dancing with the Kalamatianos and the Syrtos.
